This policy explains what DAASS LLC collects when you use daass.com, the DAASS Academy, our emails and our short links (daass.me), why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you give us — your name, email, phone, and what you write in forms, applications, questions and support requests; your profile if you choose to fill it in.
- Purchases — what you bought, amounts and payment status. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Learning — lessons watched, progress, notes and certificates, so you can pick up where you left off and we can improve the courses.
- Visits and clicks — pages viewed, links clicked, the device and browser used, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. We use this to understand which courses and messages are useful and to keep accounts secure.
- Email — whether our emails are delivered, opened or clicked.
Cookies
- Essential: keeping you signed in and protecting forms (these cannot be switched off).
- Measurement: a first-party visitor ID and how you arrived (for example from one of our links), kept for up to 13 months. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers who process data only on our instructions: Stripe (payments), Postmark (email delivery), NeverBounce (checking that an email address can receive mail), ipinfo (IP location), DigitalOcean (hosting and storage), and AI providers that help our staff write and design content. We do not sell your personal information.
Emails from us
Account, purchase and course emails are part of the service. Marketing emails are sent only with your consent; every one has a link to change your preferences or unsubscribe.
How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and as long as the law requires afterwards. Technical logs are kept for up to 13 months.
Your choices
You can see and update your profile in the Academy at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account, email [email protected]. Our courses are not directed to children under 13.
